Additional Comment Requested on Deposit Deadlines and Pricing Practices for Automated Clearing House (ACH) Transactions (Docket R-1037)

Based upon comments received in response to its request for comment in May 1999, the Board has concluded that the Federal Reserve Banks' deposit deadlines and pricing practices for ACH transactions should be modified. Comment is now requested on specific modifications that the Board believes would enhance competition in the provision of ACH operator services to depository institutions.

Comment is requested by July 25, 2000. Comments can now be e-mailed to the Board at regs.comments@Federalreserve.gov.
