Administrative Specialist, Community Development
Esther Gibian Fishman joined the Community Development team in 2012 and brings over 10 years of office administration and program management experience from Bay Area non-profits. Graduating magna cum laude, Esther holds her B.A. in Political Science, with an emphasis on City Planning, from San Francisco State University. Esther continued her education at the University of Amsterdam, where she took graduate courses in International Relations and interned for the Anne Frank House, focusing her research on current human rights violations. Upon returning to San Francisco, Esther rooted herself in the community and is a committed volunteer at various organizations including Creativity Explored, Glide Memorial, Temple Emanu-El, and the San Francisco Food Bank. In 2009, Esther earned her Jewish Service Learning Master’s certificate at San Francisco State University and in 2010 she completed the Progressive Jewish Alliance Jeremiah Fellowship.
