Research Associate, Community Development
Gabriella Chiarenza joined the Community Development team in 2012. She manages the Community Investments and Vantage Point publications, in addition to conducting research on low-income communities and affordable housing issues. Before joining the Fed, Gabriella served as the Policy Associate for the Non-Profit Housing Association of Northern California (NPH), where she handled federal, state, and local housing policy and regulation concerns on behalf of NPH’s members, including Bay Area affordable housing developers and government staff. She also worked on housing and workforce development projects at Abt Associates Inc. in Cambridge, MA. She holds a Master of City Planning degree from the University of California – Berkeley and a BA in urban studies from Brown University.
