Event Description

The Roundtable is an association of financial institutions in Nevada.Its purpose is to enhance understanding and meet the requirements of the Community Reinvestment Act. Through participation in the Roundtables, financial institutions share their resources and knowledge to effectively ascertain and address community credit needs. 

This Roundtable's Agenda will include:

  • "Building Assets, Building Relationships: Bank Strategies for Encouraging Lower-Income Households to Save"
    - Luke Reynolds, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation


  • “An Economist’s View on the Current Economic Environment and its Effect on Financial Institutions.”
    - Kelly Matthews, Economist, Wells Fargo Bank

  • "CRA in the Current Economic Environment, More Important Now than Ever"
    - Discussion led by Susan Howard, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency


  • We will also hear from Gerald Brown, Director, Utah Refugee Services Office and learn about a new UCRC loan pool from Steve Graham.
