Event Description

The Roundtable is an association of financial institutions in Utah.  Its purpose is to enhance understanding and meet the requirements of the Community Reinvestment Act.  Through participation in the Roundtables, financial institutions share their resources and knowledge to effectively ascertain and address community credit needs.

This Roundtable will highlight a “Review of Financial Education Program Evaluation Research” by Laura Choi, Research Associate, FRBSF.  In addition, an “Examiner’s Panel” will talk about “CRA, Compliance and Fair Lending Today”.  This will be a great opportunity to hear insights from the Examiners and to ask your questions.

In addition, United Way will join us to share an update from the Health System Reform Initiative; we will hear a Utah foreclosure data report from James Wood, Director of the Bureau of Economic and Business Research at the University of Utah; and we will have an opportunity to share thoughts on some ongoing asset building initiatives.
