This session allowed attendees to learn about tools for identifying community assets to bring about community revitalization. Attendees were asked to begin conceptualizing a project or program that has the potential to be investment ready by the end of the four session series. |

But, assets and resources are only one part of the story. Panelists will provide an overview of key demographic, business, physical assets, and local resources as well as discuss the challenges that must be addressed to undertake successful community development. |

Community Development Vision into Reality (PDF - 3.44MB)
Can a project transform a low-income and marginalized community? If the project is Market Creek or Fruitvale Village, then the answer is, yes. Hear from the executive leadership of these award-winning projects about the measurable contribution they have made to revitalizing the immediate community. They described how the project progressed from concept to completion, discuss lessons learned, and report on the project’s performance. Each project included examples of bank financing and support.
