Event Description

The following topics will be discussed in order to develop the “Bank on Eastern Idaho” initiative.

Developing a checkless, low-cost product that meets the needs of unbanked consumers;
Adapting internal systems to allow customers on ChexSystems to open “second chance” checking accounts;
Accepting alternative forms of identification;
Expanding marketing in targeted, low-income neighborhoods or communities; and
Partnering with nonprofits in eastern Idaho to identify customers ready to enter the financial mainstream.
