Wahine in Hawaii Business in Laniakea

Wahine in Hawaii Business in Laniakea

February 2010 – December 2010

At the heart of leadership is the ability to develop trusting and caring relationships that are the foundation to achieving results that are good for business and good for our community. The Wahine in Hawaii Business (WHB) Network at Laniakea creates opportunities and shared experiences for business professionals to connect and learn from each other, build diverse relationships and engage in thoughtful conversations about business issues. This network is ideal for business owners, professionals, non-profit and community development leaders looking for peer-to-peer engagement, and those who are driven and interested in building a community of support.

Program includes the following:

  • Four “power lunches” with leaders featured in the Hawaii Business magazine.
  • Three business-to-business Pau Hana networking events.

Additional Benefits:

  • Learning Circles for members to engage in close and interactive conversations with business leaders and each other.
  • Business Networking roundtables that enable direct 1:1 networking.
  • Opportunities for 60-second “announcements” to highlight your organization.
  • Recognition as a WHB Network member on the YWCA’s and HCRC’s websites and annual YWCA LeaderLuncheon printed program.
  • Opportunity to invite additional guests to WHB events at special discounted prices.
