Event Description

Through its member financial organizations, the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco (FHLBSF) offers a savings-linked down payment assistance program known as the Individual Development Empowerment Account (IDEA). This program has been traditionally linked to the Assets for Independence (AFI) IDA matched savings program of the Administration for Children and Families of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

However, the IDEA program remains underutilized in many areas, and the connection with the IDA program has not been fully developed. The FHLBSF would like to revive interest in the IDEA program by making information available to you and discussing opportunities with you for partnerships and collaborations.

Please plan to join the discussion as we explore new approaches to homeownership through two well known savings-linked programs.
