Event Description

Impact investing recognizes that investments can pursue financial returns while also intentionally addressing social and environmental challenges. The impact investing market has been estimated at $500 billion. There are 177 venture funds identified as impact investors; the industry has grown 600% in the past 4 years.

The goal of this conference is to educate the Hawaii market regarding social entrepreneurship and Impact Investing and inform the external market regarding the unique role Hawaii can play in Impact Investing.

  • Emergence of Hawaii funders self identified as impact investors
  • Emergence of Hawaii entrepreneurs self-identified as social entrepreneurs
  • Cross-pollination between values-based funders and entrepreneurs
