Event Description

The Las Vegas Healthy Communities Coalition invites you to participate in a roundtable discussion with leaders in business, early childhood education, CCSD, UNLV, workforce development, foundations, nonprofits and government to create the framework for a plan supporting our youth and build a healthy community cradle to career through a collective impact model.

The forum will be moderated by Strive, a national initiative working to build cradle to career civic infrastructure in communities across the country. We will work through a collective impact model, an approach to solving large-scale social problems based on the premise that achieving outcomes can only come from effective cross-sector coordination. Thus, invitees will include leaders from education, health, housing, community resources as well as public safety and transportation - all important components for a healthy community.

We hope you will join this conversation in support of students and families in our Valley.
