Event Description

On December 4, the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, the Low Income Investment Fund, and the Citi Foundation will convene the nation’s top community and economic development experts, analysts, financiers, researchers, philanthropists, and public policymakers to share lessons they’ve learned for building sustainable communities and what steps the public and private sectors need to take to foster prosperity.

The event at the Columbus Club in Washington D.C. will showcase ideas that are captured in a new book “Investing in What Works for America’s Communities,” a series of essays from experts in a variety of fields who provide dozens of examples of innovative interventions that are transforming neighborhoods around the country.
