Alternatives to Payday Loan Trap Convening
December 13, 2010
This convening will bring together community development practitioners and service providers, advocates, and other concerned parties to learn about the need for small dollar loan products that can serve as a more responsible and economically viable alternative to payday loans. Attendees will have an opportunity to hear from several companies and organizations delivering alternatives and discuss these products effectiveness in meeting the needs of consumers and redirecting them into a more sustainable use of credit.
