Work in progress

Dan Wilson is currently engaged in a number of research projects related to productivity, investment, and research and development. In recent work, he has evaluated the effects of state research and development (R&D) tax credits on in-state and out-of-state R&D spending. Similarly, he has looked at the effectiveness of state investment tax credits as well as the political and economic determinants of such credits, paying particular attention to the potential role of tax competition among states. In other work, Dan explored the relationship between capital mix and productivity using confidential, firm-level data from the Census Bureau.
