FRBSF: Crossword Puzzle Instructions

This window will display the hints if you click on the "HINT" link in the crossword puzzle.

How to play the crossword:

Use your keyboard's arrow keys to move about. Use the space bar or backspace to clear a letter.
Click in any square to see the applicable "Across" and "Down" clues.
A yellow "Across" or "Down" clue title identifies your currently selected clue. To change direction, re-click in the active crossword square.
As you type each letter, the crossword squares will be filled. Yellow letters indicate correct choices while red letters indicate incorrect.
If you get stuck, you can click on the HINT for that clue and a page will appear in this window.
