Lynn A. Pike and Andrew
J. Sale Join the San Francisco Fed's
Los Angeles Branch Board
Los Angeles, March 13, 2007 – The Federal Reserve Bank of San
Francisco has appointed Lynn A. Pike, president of Bank of America California
and president of its national Business Banking organization, and Andrew
J. Sale, partner with Ernst & Young LLP, to its Los Angeles Branch
board of directors. The boards of directors of the Reserve Banks and
Branches provide the Federal Reserve System with a wealth of information
on economic conditions in virtually every corner of the nation. This
information is used by the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) and the
Board of Governors in reaching decisions about monetary policy.
Lynn A. Pike is president, Business Banking, at Bank of America, a
position she assumed on April 1, 2004. In this role, she manages a
$2.1 billion
revenue business with responsibility for nearly 110,000 business
clients who are served by a team of dedicated client managers. As president
of Bank of America California, she represents the face of the company
to
organizations and communities across the state and is responsible
for
ensuring the integration of the company's California operations,
and for growth goals across all business lines.
Ms. Pike is a member of the Bank of America Management Operating Committee,
composed of the company's senior leaders, and is on the board of
trustees for the Bank of America Foundation.
Ms. Pike currently serves on the national board of directors for Operation
HOPE and the board of directors for Phoenix Houses of California. She
is a member of California Businesses for Education Excellence, the
California Business Roundtable and the board of trustees of the Autry
Museum. She
is a graduate of the Executive School of Marketing at the Fuqua School
of Business at Duke University, Durham, North Carolina.
Andrew J. Sale is a partner with Ernst & Young and leads the firm's
Media and Entertainment practice in the Pacific Southwest area, specializing
in audit and advisory services. Over the past twenty years, Mr. Sale
has served many major film studios, entertainment content providers,
and entertainment distributors in Southern California. In addition to
his client and leadership responsibilities, Mr. Sale served on the nominating
committee for Ernst & Young's Partner Advisory Board, and had
a lead role in establishing the firm's new media and internet initiatives.
Mr. Sale is active on the Board of Trustees of the California Science
Center Foundation, and contributes his time to several other nonprofit
and educational organizations. He is also responsible for directing Ernst & Young's
community and volunteer efforts in the Pacific Southwest area, which
includes Southern California, Nevada, Colorado, Hawaii, and Arizona.
Mr. Sale is a Certified Public Accountant with a BSC from Santa Clara
University.
