Adrian Rodriguez is senior vice president of Communications and Community Engagement at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. In this capacity, he oversees the development and execution of the San Francisco Fed’s communications and outreach strategies to key stakeholders. Under Mr. Rodriguez’s management are employee and executive communications, public relations and reputation management, and intranet and public website content management. He also manages the Bank’s economic education, community development, and government relations activities.
Mr. Rodriguez is a member of the bank’s Executive Committee and serves as a special advisor to San Francisco Fed President John C. Williams.
Prior to joining the Bank in 2013, Mr. Rodriguez served as the chief communications officer for MetLife, where he directed the company’s global communications strategies and served as primary communications counsel to executive management. His career spans nearly 30 years of broad strategic communications and management experience in the financial services sector.
Mr. Rodriguez holds a bachelor of science degree in public relations and organizational communications from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
