2000 Economic Review

Beginning with 2000, we are making some changes to the FRBSF Economic Review. We will publish only one issue per year, and each issue will contain two or more articles that are targeted specifically at current economic policy issues and that are based on solid research. In addition to the articles, each issue also will contain summaries of the various research activities and products of the Economic Research Department. These will cover work published in the preceding year, as well as research in progress.

We believe the revamped FRBSF Economic Review will continue to rank among the premier central bank research publications. We also believe that the Review's focus on policy supported by a strong analytic foundation will contribute an important dimension to the professional literature.
