The first of two semi-annual 2014 Inland Empire Community Development Forums is set to explore the impact of the lack of access to capital and the effect of the Affordable Care Act on small businesses. To share their strategies and outcomes we have invited a robust panel of presenters from the U.S. SBA, CDC Small Business Finance, Valley Economic Development Center, Grow America Fund, the IE SBDC and the Small Business Majority.
Additionally, there will be updates from members of several local initiatives from around the Inland Empire. Directly following will be in-depth group discussions to further explore the issues and to identify collaborative opportunities to enhance the community development efforts in the Inland Empire. This forum is designed for participation by financial institutions, community-based organizations and government entities.
