The goal of this roundtable is to learn about the community and economic needs of Klamath Falls and to discuss how Klamath IDEA (Inspire Development, Energize Acceleration) can address many of the area’s challenges.   Participants at this roundtable will be able to hear from economic development officials and share their perspectives.

During the January 22, 2014 Oregon Community Reinvestment Act (“CRA”) Roundtable held in Portland, Michael Mills from Oregon Solutions described the activities of the Oregon Solutions.  The Klamath IDEA is one of Oregon Solutions’ projects, and this roundtable is the first of a series of roundtables being planned throughout the State of Oregon. Financial institutions, foundations, civic officials, and community and economic development organizations are invited to participate in this roundtable.

The Klamath IDEA will promote, support, consult, and provide business and marketing advice to local entrepreneurs in the development of start-up and business expansion opportunities in Klamath County. Additional information on Klamath IDEA can be found on Oregon Solutions’ website: http://orsolutions.org/osproject/KlamathIDEA
