In early 2014, Los Angeles was one of the first five communities to receive the Promise Zone federal designation by President Barack Obama. This initiative encourages cities to leverage local resources and partnerships with private, public and nonprofit organizations to lift communities out of poverty. At this season we will explore leading activities underway and opportunities for bankers to engage in this ten year project that stands to impact community development strategies in the city for many years into the future. Come to this roundtable to find out how this work can affect communities you serve.
