Mark Pinsky is President & CEO of Opportunity Finance Network (OFN), the national network of high-performing community development finance institutions and other opportunity finance institutions. OFN is leading the industry toward its goal of creating a high-impact, high-volume financing system providing tens of billions of dollars annually benefiting millions of low-income and low-wealth people. Mr. Pinsky joined OFN in February 1995 and he is primarily responsible for Opportunity Finance Network’s vision and strategy.
Mr. Pinsky currently chairs the national boards of the CDFI Data Project, and CARS™. He also serves on the Boards of Net Impact, the CDFI Coalition, as well as on advisory boards to the Center for Community Development Investments at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Bank of America’s National Consumer Advisory Council, and several New Market Tax Credit community development entities. He served on the CAC of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors from 2003 through 2005, including service as Chair of the Council in 2005. In 2002, President George W. Bush appointed Mr. Pinsky to the CDFI Fund Advisory Board in the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where he served until 2006.
