GOLD Internship Program

Invest in your future with the Growing Opportunity for Leadership and Diversity (GOLD) internship program at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.

As a paid GOLD intern, you’ll apply your research and analytical skills to projects supporting the Bank’s key business functions. From assisting with safety and soundness examinations to working on technology projects, exciting opportunities exist in nearly every department: Financial Institution Supervision and Credit (FISC), National Incident Response Team (NIRT), Identity Access Management, Cash Product Office and Economic Research, to name just a few.

During your 10-12 week paid summer internship, work on IT projects dedicated to the economic development of our region and the nation.

Program Details

Eligibility

The GOLD internship program is available to full-time undergraduate or graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university who meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated interest in finance, accounting, audit, business, economics, information technology, application development, cyber security, or web design
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the full duration of the 10-12 week internship program

Location

GOLD internship positions are located in our San Francisco head office, as well as our Seattle and Los Angeles branch locations.

November 8, 2019 Application deadline

November – December 2019 Application and resume review

January 2020 GOLD intern interviews

February 2020 Intern selection and acceptance letters

May 2020 GOLD internship begins for semester students

June 2020 GOLD internship begins for quarter system students
