Teuila Hanson is the senior vice president of People and Culture. In this role, Ms. Hanson uses her passion and understanding of people to create an engaging workplace that drives the Bank’s strategic goals and positions the organization as a destination employer of choice within the Twelfth District.
Ms. Hanson is a member of the Executive Committee, leading the Bank’s overall human resources strategy. Under her management, Ms. Hanson is improving organizational performance by integrating best practices in talent management, diversity and inclusion, organizational development and effectiveness, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and corporate culture.
Prior to joining the Bank in February 2015, Ms. Hanson held a variety of leadership roles at AECOM Technology Corporation, a global professional services company in the architecture, design, engineering, and construction management. While at AECOM, Ms. Hanson served as assistant general counsel; vice president of engagement, diversity and inclusion; and organization and employee development. In these roles, she drove the organization’s talent management strategy and managed all aspects of talent planning, including succession planning and learning and development programs. Prior to her employment with AECOM Technology, she worked as an assistant general counsel, providing legal guidance in employment, labor, and compensation issues, as well as drafting company-wide policies on a variety of human resource topics.
Ms. Hanson holds a bachelor of arts degree from Sonoma State University. She earned her juris doctor degree from Golden Gate University School of Law, and is a licensed member of the California Bar.
