Teuila Hanson is executive vice president and Chief Strategy and People Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. In this role, Ms. Hanson uses her passion and understanding of people to create an engaging workplace that drives the Bank’s strategic goals and positions the organization as a destination employer of choice within the Twelfth District. She oversees the Strategy and Risk team, chairs the Management Committee and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Ms. Hanson’s strategic vision has been recognized in the Federal Reserve System and beyond. Under her leadership, the Bank has continually improved its organizational performance by integrating best practices in talent management, inclusion and diversity, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee engagement and corporate culture.
Prior to joining the Bank in February 2015, Ms. Hanson held a variety of leadership roles at AECOM Technology Corporation, a global professional services company. While at AECOM, Ms. Hanson served as assistant general counsel; vice president of engagement, diversity and inclusion; and organization and employee development. In these roles, she drove the organization’s talent management strategy and managed all aspects of talent planning, including succession planning and learning and development programs. Prior to her employment with AECOM Technology, she worked as an assistant general counsel, providing legal guidance in employment, labor, and compensation issues, as well as drafting company-wide policies on a variety of human resource topics.
Ms. Hanson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sonoma State University. She earned her juris doctor degree from Golden Gate University School of Law and is a licensed member of the California Bar.
