
Abby McLennan
Vice President and Regional Executive, Salt Lake City
Abby McLennan serves as vice president and regional executive of the Salt Lake City Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. In this role, she fosters trusted relationships with leaders in the business and banking sectors in Utah, Southern Idaho and Northeast Nevada. Through ongoing engagement and dialogue, Abby gathers real-time information on local economic conditions, adding important context to quantitative data and analyses that the Federal Reserve uses to guide its decision making and policies. She is a senior leader who represents the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco in the region and leads the development and facilitation of the Bank’s Salt Lake City Branch Board of Directors. She also has a key role in the development of the Bank’s advisory councils.
Abby has been with the San Francisco Fed since 2001, holding positions in Cash Compliance, Internal Audit, and Cash Operations for both the Kansas City Fed and the SF Fed. In her most recent role as Assistant Vice President, Workplace Experience + Law Enforcement, she focused on building and championing relationships with her team, business partners, and community members. She has served as the secretary to the Salt Lake City Board of Directors and has actively represented the SF Fed in the community.
Abby received a bachelor of business administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
