
Laura Choi
Executive Vice President, Regional Engagement
Laura Choi is the executive vice president of Regional Engagement at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. The Regional Engagement group develops trusted relationships with business, community, and government stakeholders to understand regional economic conditions in the Twelfth District, deepen public awareness of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco’s work, and build a stronger economy for all Americans. These regional networks help surface information on economic conditions in real time, serving as an input to monetary policy and other areas of work at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
In this role, she provides overall strategic direction and leadership for the Community Engagement and Analysis, Government and Civic Relations, and Regional Business Engagement teams. She also oversees the Office of the Secretary, which manages the governance and operations for all Twelfth District boards of directors and advisory councils. Laura also serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco’s Executive Leadership Team.
Before joining the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco in 2008, she worked in affordable housing development and management consulting. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master of public policy degree, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
