Tracy Choi is senior outreach manager for Northern California (including the San Francisco Bay Area) and Utah in Community Engagement and Analysis at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. In this role, she is responsible for engaging communities and connecting with a broad range of community development stakeholders to understand the economic experiences of lower-income households and communities. She works to elevate emerging issues and innovative approaches that promote economic opportunity through shared learning, community conversations, and cross-sector partnerships.

Tracy has a background in affordable housing and community development, primarily in the public and nonprofit sectors. Before joining the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco in 2022, Tracy spent six years at the County of San Mateo Department of Housing, working to accelerate affordable housing development opportunities and administering housing and community development programs and services.

Tracy is a Bay Area native and received a master’s degree in public policy from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Boston University.
