
Chad Marchand
Senior Outreach Manager, Community Engagement and Analysis
Chad Marchand is a senior outreach manager in Community Engagement and Analysis at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. In this role, he is responsible for engaging communities across the Twelfth Federal Reserve District, including Tribal Nations and Native organizations, and connecting with a broad range of stakeholders to understand their economic experiences. He works to elevate emerging issues and innovative approaches that promote economic opportunity through shared learning, community conversations, and cross-sector partnerships.
Before joining the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco in 2022, Chad served as vice president of the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED) and interim executive director of Native Edge Finance, Inc., where he focused on advancing Native entrepreneurship and community development finance.
Chad holds a master’s degree in public administration and a bachelor’s degree in political science and history, both from the University of Arizona. He also earned a master’s degree in applied intelligence with a concentration in Homeland Security from Georgetown University and a graduate certificate in Terrorism Analysis from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Homeland Security at St. John’s University.
A citizen of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, Chad is actively involved in his community.
