Sumudu Watugala is an assistant professor of finance at the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University. Her research is in financial intermediation, asset pricing, international finance, asset management, and climate finance. She obtained her doctoral degree from the University of Oxford and her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is a faculty fellow at the Atkinson Center for Sustainability and an associate member of the Oxford-Man Institute for Quantitative Finance.

This seminar is part of the Virtual Seminar on Climate Economics series hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and is open to everyone interested in research on the economics of climate change.
