Simon Scheidegger is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Business and Economics (HEC) of the University of Lausanne. His research focuses developing numerical methods to solve and estimate high-dimensional optimal control problems, and to apply them to questions in climate change, macroeconomics, and finance.

This seminar is part of the Virtual Seminar on Climate Economics series hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and is open to everyone interested in research on the economics of climate change.
