Matthew E. Kahn is a Provost Professor of Economics at the University of Southern California. He is a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and a research fellow at IZA. He is a Senior Fellow at the Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics at USC. Starting in September 2023, he will serve as a Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. Dr. Kahn holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago. His research focuses on urban and environmental economics.

This seminar is part of the Virtual Seminar on Climate Economics series hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and is open to everyone interested in research on the economics of climate change.
