Thomas Stoerk is a Visiting Fellow at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). In his research, Thomas seeks to improve economic estimates of climate change impacts and to inform the design of cost-effective mitigation policy for greenhouse gases and air pollutants. Thomas holds a PhD in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. He was previously a High-Meadows Post-Doctoral Economist with the Office of the Chief Economist at the Environmental Defense Fund in New York.

This seminar is part of the Virtual Seminar on Climate Economics series hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and is open to everyone interested in research on the economics of climate change.
